WANT TO LIVE, PLAY, AND WORK IN COLORADO? COME JOIN THE AMAZING TEAM OF DIAGNOSTIC IMAGING!
WE ARE THE PREMIERE PROVIDER OF MOBILE VETERINARY DIAGNOSTIC IMAGING SERVICES IN THE STATE
Diagnostic Imaging, P.C. (DI) is seeking two board-certified or board-eligible veterinary radiologists to complement our group of full-time radiologists who currently include, Dr. Leila Worth, Dr. Jen Grimm, Dr. Christina Copple, Dr. Lori Hartzband, Dr. Stacy Winkelman, and Dr. Katie Tucker-Mohl. We are the Denver area’s largest and most well-established small animal veterinary imaging group, providing mobile diagnostic ultrasound and radiographic consultations (including teleradiology service). Our group covers much of Colorado’s Front Range from Brighton to Castle Rock and from east Aurora to Evergreen and all other areas in between. We are also the sole provider of imaging services to a large regional specialty hospital allowing us access to advanced imaging modalities (a 64-slice Toshiba Aquilion CT scanner, 1.5T Seimens Symphony MRI, and C-arm fluoroscopy unit) and providing the opportunity for collaboration with many other specialists. Between the mobile services for general practitioners and coverage at the specialty hospital you will enjoy a diverse and complex caseload.
We allow each radiologist to control his or her schedule to create a flexible work environment. Your vehicle, ultrasound machine, all vehicular expenses, computer, high definition viewing monitor, cell phone, and all supplies needed to perform exams are provided for you. Based on a full-time 4-day work week, we offer a base salary and production program to ensure a competitive wage. There is the option of potential ownership for the right candidate. Our robust benefits package includes full paid premiums for health (including dental and vision) and liability insurance as well as an employer contribution into a health savings account for each employee. DI also provides a generous allowance for association and specialty dues, journals, books, state licensing, and CE. Additional perks include paid vacation, all standard holidays off, retirement 401K plan with employer matching, and relocation assistance.
Applicants should have excellent diagnostic and communication skills as well as enjoy interacting with local veterinarians and their staffs. Since we work primarily with the referring veterinarian, in their hospitals, this job requires a lot of independence and flexibility on a day-to-day basis. For our professional enrichment and support, our group also meets regularly to discuss cases, problems, and of course to socialize.
We strive to provide our radiologists with excellent work-life balance! The Denver area is a great place to live and you will have time to enjoy the many outdoor activities that are found in this area. The mountains are very close by for winter and summer recreation and also provide a beautiful view. Denver has world class theater, fabulous dining and breweries, excellent music venues including Red Rocks Amphitheatre, multiple professional sports teams (such as the Rockies, the Broncos, and the Avalanche), and family-friendly venues (such as Elitches and Water World amusement parks, Denver Zoo, and Downtown Aquarium), as well as many other entertainments. The climate is generally sunny (300 days of sunshine each year) and dry.
