Job Description

We are seeking a second board-certified or board-eligible radiologist to expand the diagnostic imaging services at Pieper Veterinary, a veterinary owned and operated multi-location practice, which consists of two 24-hour Emergency and Specialty Centers and 4 general practices. Our referral base includes 300 hospitals throughout southern New England and eastern New York.

As a privately owned practice, we offer unique opportunities and attract entrepreneurial, driven doctors dedicated to leading and expanding their department. We offer a competitive base compensation as well as production bonus, paid CE, 401K, sign-on bonus and relocation assistance.

Our main hospital, Pieper Memorial Veterinary Center is located in Middletown, CT. The diagnostic imaging department serves a critical role, collaborating with specialists in emergency and critical care, internal medicine, neurology and neurosurgery, orthopedic, soft tissue and oncologic surgery, medical oncology, dentistry, and 4 general practices. We are currently expanding our emergency and specialty services to a second location in Madison.

We are committed to providing our clinicians with the tools that they need to perform advanced diagnostics and treatments. Onsite at Pieper Memorial Veterinary Center in Middletown we have a dedicated Toshiba Xario ultrasound unit, a new, state-of-the-art 64-slice Toshiba Aquilion CT scanner and a 1.5 tesla GE MRI. DR digital x-ray is used in all locations and a well-trained staff is dedicated to the department.


Middletown is a thriving college town, featuring a lively downtown area with local boutiques, breweries and coffeshops, while Madison is a bustling shoreline town, offering the picturesque atmosphere of coastal New England. Both Middletown and Madison are within close proximity to New Haven and Hartford, and are within an easy driving distance/train travel of both New York and Boston.
