Job Description

Anderson Moores is a large multidisciplinary small animal referral only centre in the south of England. We accept referrals in Internal Medicine, Soft Tissue Surgery, Orthopaedic Surgery, Neurology, Cardiology, Dermatology and Physiotherapy.

Due to further hospital expansion, we are looking for a residency trained board eligible or boarded Diagnostic Imager to join our friendly and dynamic team of four radiologists (3 Diplomats, 1 board eligible), supported by a dedicated radiographer, technicians and nurses. Our imaging team works closely with clinicians, participating in decision making and management of cases to provide an exceptional standard of care.

Hospital workflow is managed by our Anaesthesia department to facilitate smooth liaison between departments. We are a close knit community of clinicians who enjoy working together to provide a very high standard of treatment and care for our patients.

We have on site MRI (Phillips 1.5T), CT (64-slice Siemens Somatom Perspective), Ultrasound (GE S7), Fluoroscopy (Siemens Siremobil Compact L) and digital radiography (Konica Minolta CR digital with plans to upgrade to DR in the near future).

An attractive remuneration package includes private health care, contributory pension, pet insurance and allowances for CPD and external commitments such as committees, Boards or lecturing. We believe our clinicians should be involved in career development as well as the clinic and support clinical research initiatives and other interests if possible.

The practice is situated in a beautiful rural location just outside the historic town of Winchester and in close proximity to Southampton airport, the south coast and the New Forest and the South Downs National Parks. Winchester is 50 minutes from central London by train. For more information visit http://www.andersonmoores.com.

Applicants must be residency trained board eligible or boarded specialists and eligible to be licensed to practice in the UK (see http://www.rcvs.org.uk for further details of registerable veterinary degrees). Please apply by email (with current CV and a letter of intent) to [javascript protected email address] or for informal confidential enquiries please contact Petra Agthe [javascript protected email address] or Davina Anderson [javascript protected email address].
