Job Description

Peak Veterinary Referral Center in beautiful Vermont is looking for Locum Radiologists till our permanent radiologist position has been filled. Peak has a very well established diagnostic imaging caseload, comprised of in-house and out-patient ultrasonography, digital radiography and CT scans.

Peak Veterinary Referral Center is located in Williston, Vermont, immediately outside the City of Burlington. The Center opened in April 2011 and is the most comprehensive multi-specialty facility serving northern New York, Vermont and New Hampshire. Equipment includes a Toshiba Aplio 300 ultrasound unit, a Sound-Eklin digital radiology system and a Neurologica CT scanner. We also have MRI access at a local human radiology facility. The radiologist will join a collegial group offering referral services in the fields of internal medicine, surgery, ophthalmology, oncology, neurology, cardiology, dermatology, physical rehabilitation and behavior. Vermont has the highest per capita pet ownership in the country and our clients are well educated and committed to seeking high quality veterinary care. The Greater Burlington area lies between the Green Mountains and Lake Champlain in northern Vermont. The proximity to mountains and lakes offers unlimited outdoor recreation options. There are numerous colleges and universities in the area, plus top-rated restaurants, cultural attractions and entertainment venues. Burlington has been named by Parent’s Magazine as one of the top areas to raise children and is consistently rated as one of the healthiest places to live.
