Do you want to practice hands-on radiology with other radiologists, among a large group of dedicated specialists? Do you want to know what happens to the cases you image? Do you want to use all your skills with ultrasound, MR, CT and fluoroscopy? Then Veterinary Specialty Services is the place for you!

The successful candidate will have achieved board certification or have completed a residency and be actively working towards board certification. For the right candidate, we will consider those in their final year of residency.

Veterinary Specialty Services is the largest, privately owned, multi-specialty and 24-hour emergency hospital in the state with 2 locations in the metro region. We are in our 25th year of providing high-level care to St. Louis Metro-area veterinarians and their patients/clients. Our doctors include 22 specialists in cardiology, critical care, internal medicine, oncology, radiology and surgery. Our dedicated team is rounded out by 15 emergency doctors and an amazing client services and technical support team.

Our radiology team currently consists of two boarded radiologists with over 20 years of combined experience and a top-notch technical support team. VSS has all the advanced equipment a radiologist needs for success, including: 1.5T MRI, CT, Phillips Epiq Ultrasound and digital fluoroscopy. Our radiology team provides support to our hospital internally as well as mobile ultrasound support to area veterinarians. This provides opportunity for a flexible work schedule that if desired may include work from home and/or mobile opportunities.

St. Louis is a major metropolitan area that offers all the amenities of big city living with a small town feel. Forest Park (site of the 1904 World’s Fair and Olympics) is home to several museums and the #1 zoo in the country. Nearby are the Arch, Science Center and the Botanical Gardens. St. Louis has diverse neighborhoods, great restaurants, theater, dance companies and a world-class symphony. If you are a sports fan, St. Louis has plenty to cheer with the Blues and the Cardinals.
