Job Description

VCA Canada Toronto Veterinary Emergency Hospital (TVEH) in Scarborough, Ontario is seeking a permanent, full-time Radiologist to join our specialty health care team. We also welcome applicants who are nearing the completion of their residency training and waiting to complete board exams.

Our radiology department is a busy and growing service that works closely with both the ER and specialty services. The specialty team currently includes two radiologist, neurologist, oncologist, four surgeons, two internists, two anesthesiologists and four criticalists. After hours and weekend care is provided through the on-site emergency clinic and critical care service with staffed 7 full/part-time emergency veterinarians.

The candidate’s responsibilities will include further advancement and development of the radiology department. A full complement of on-site diagnostic imaging equipment includes 2 Sound digital radiography suites, Philips iU22 and epic 7 ultrasound units, Philips BV Pulsera digital fluoroscopy unit, Toshiba Aquilion 16 Slice CT, and Esaote 0.3T low field MRI Grande.

The Toronto Veterinary Emergency Hospital is a state-of-the-art 24-hour emergency and referral specialty hospital, which operates out of a 16,500 square foot facility in Scarborough.
