VCA Canada Toronto Veterinary Emergency Hospital (TVEH) in Scarborough, Ontario is seeking a Board-certified (ACVR or ECVDI) or Board-eligible Radiologist (permanent, full-time) to join our specialty health care team. We also welcome applicants who are nearing the completion of their residency training.
Our radiology department is a busy and growing service that works closely with both our specialty health care services and our busy emergency service to provide state of the art care.
The specialty team at our hospital currently includes a radiologist, a neurologist, an oncologist, three surgeons, three internists, two anesthesiologists and three criticalists. We are also actively seeking other specialists to join our growing hospital. Our hospital team strives to encourage a collegial and collaborative work environment in order to provide the best possible patient care while maintaining a work life balance for our staff.
A full complement of on-site diagnostic imaging equipment at TVEH includes two digital radiography suites, Phillips iU22 and Phillips Epiq 7G ultrasound machines, Toshiba Aquilion 16 CT, Esoate 0.25T Vet-MR Grande, and Philips BV Pulsera C-arm unit.

The Toronto Veterinary Emergency Hospital is a 24-hour emergency and referral specialty hospital, which operates out of a 16,500 square foot facility located 30 minutes Northeast of downtown Toronto, in Scarborough. We are located just off a major highway (the 401) at an easily accessible location from downtown Toronto or the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
