Job Description

Cornell University Veterinary Specialists (CUVS) is looking for a radiologist to join our amazing team.

CUVS is a mission-driven specialty and emergency center, providing exceptional and innovative medicine within a patient-centered and service-oriented model. As a for-profit, independent subsidiary of Cornell University, we have a unique hospital model, combining some of the best aspects of both private and academic practice.

CUVS has board-certified specialists in Emergency-Critical Care (3), Internal Medicine (4), Surgery (2), Oncology, Ophthalmology, Dentistry & Oral Surgery, Dermatology, Sports Medicine and Cardiology, as well as advanced Interventional Radiology-Endoscopy. We currently have digital radiology, ultrasonography, 4-slice CT (upgrade planned to 16/64-slice), and 30FPS fluoroscopy.

CUVS boasts a truly exceptional and unique culture that makes for an unparalleled work environment. Our specialists and technicians are a cohesive team of professionals who strongly believe in collaboration, communication, and lifelong learning. Advanced infrastructure, technology, and management/administrative support enable our clinicians to practice optimally. We also benefit from the outstanding resources of Cornell, including opportunities for collaboration, teaching and clinical trials.

We are looking for a radiologist to lead and optimize our imaging services. We can be creative regarding schedule, would consider part-time, and are flexible with respect to external consulting. Located in Harbor Point, Stamford, on Connecticut’s “Gold Coast”, the area offers beauty, a rich cultural experience, and myriad water and other outdoor activities.  We are 45 minutes from Manhattan and minutes from commuter trains and the Interstate, offering easy access to other parts of New England and the Northeast.

CUVS offers an outstanding compensation package (even for private practice) with excellent benefits, including matching 401k, medical, dental, pet, disability and life insurance. Access to Cornell’s electronic library and subscriptions is provided. CUVS is a great place to practice at your best. Individuals with a passion for their work, a strong sense of collaboration and teamwork, and an appreciation for diversity are strongly encouraged to apply.
