About MRI Vets:
Founded in 2001, by Patrick Gavin, DVM, PhD, DACVR, and now owned by Jaime Sage, DVM, MS, DACVR, MRI Vets has long been the leader in specialized MRI consultation, with a teaching file that exceeds 20,000 MRI cases. We are closely emulating the development of sub-specialties in the human MD profession, and have developed synergistic partnership with human MRI facilities, research groups, and experienced veterinary specialists of all fields. Our mission is to drive better patient care through tailored high-field MRI studies, and close collaboration with experienced surgeons, neurosurgeons, and other specialists.

MRI Vets is committed to fostering further specialization in MRI and sub-specialties within MRI in order to improve veterinary radiology proficiency, advance the relations between radiology specialists and other advanced specialties, and to achieve professional purpose and satisfaction within our field. As MD radiologists have long known, specialization and expertise are closely correlated with professional satisfaction and improved clinical outcomes. As any expert will attest, true expertise can only come from a focused and sustained effort in a narrow facet of a given profession. We at MRI Vets are committed to training the next generation of MRI specialists to lead our profession into the future.
