The locum role requires interpretation of DR, CT (64-slice), MRI (1.5 T), nuclear medicine, ultrasound, fluoroscopic procedures and contrast studies in small animals and exotic species (if interested). Performance of ultrasound is in conjunction with our 5 registered diagnostic medical sonographers and diagnostic imaging interns.

Compensation is dependent upon experience and is negotiable. Licensure by the Texas State Board of Veterinary Medicine would be required and GCVS would cover the associated fees. Houston is fantastic. It is the fourth largest and most ethnically diversity city in the country. We have all the cultural amenities, including museums, theater, arts, professional sports, and amazing food.

Our climate allows for year round outdoor activities and our coastal location offers miles of beaches and seaside recreation. The two large airports allow for quick direct flights to all parts of the United States and beyond.
