Job Description

This position will provide service in all imaging modalities and for all species for Diagnostic Imaging section of the Veterinary Teaching Hospital at the School of Veterinary Medicine. Participate in didactic and clinical training of students in the professional (DVM) program. Participate in training of diagnostic imaging residents, and interns within the Diagnostic Imaging section. Participate in scholarly activities within the veterinary clinical sciences department and Diagnostic Imaging section.

Assistant Professor of Diagnostic Imaging/ (Clinical-Track)
  • Minimum Qualifications: DVM (or equivalent) and completion of an ACVR or ECVDI approved residency program
  • Preferred Qualifications: Board certification by ACVR or ECVDI

Associate Professor of Diagnostic Imaging/ (Clinical-Track)
  • Minimum Qualifications: DVM (or equivalent) and completion of an ACVR or ECVDI approved residency program and at least five years of related research/teaching/clinical experience
  • Preferred Qualifications: Board certification by ACVR or ECVDI

Full Professor of Diagnostic Imaging/ (Clinical-Track)
  • Minimum Qualifications: DVM (or equivalent) and completion of an ACVR or ECVDI approved residency program and at least eight years of related research/teaching/clinical experience
  • Preferred Qualifications: Board certification by ACVR or ECVDI

  • Minimum Qualifications: DVM (or equivalent) and completion of an ACVR or ECVDI approved residency program
  • Preferred Qualifications: Board certification by ACVR or ECVDI

  • Preferred Qualifications: Board certification by ACVR or ECVDI

Special or Physical Qualifications (ALL LEVELS)
  • Per PS 18- This position is a part of the Emergency Response Personnel - these personnel are linked with the hospital during any emergency response event and are expected to report in and perform as outlined in the emergency response plan.
  • Required to be capable of lifting up to 40 pounds, standing or walking for prolonged periods, able to reach and/or climb a ladder, kneel or sit on the floor, bending, squatting, and/or twisting.
  • Due to the nature of this position and/or responsibilities, this position is subject to random drug & alcohol testing in accordance with University Policy Statement 67*
