Job Description Summary: Provide service in medical oncology for all species for the Oncology service area of the Veterinary Teaching Hospital at the School of Veterinary Medicine. Participate in training of radiation oncology and medical oncology residents, interns,veterinary students and visiting interns and residents within the oncology section. Participate in scholarly activities activities within the Veterinary Clinical Sciences department and oncology section.

Asst/Assoc/Full Professor (Clinical-Track)
  • Responsibilities: Provide clinical expertise and deliver services in the oncology section for all species during clinical track position (70%). Scholarly activity to include teaching and research (30%).
  • Required Qualifications: DVM or equivalent; Board certification or residency trained by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (Oncology)

Asst/Assoc/Full Professor (Tenure-Track)
  • Responsibilities: Provide clinical expertise and deliver services in the oncology section for all species. during tenure track position (50%). Scholarly activity to include teaching and research (50%).
  • Required Qualifications: DVM or equivalent; Board certification or residency trained by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (Oncology)

Asst/Assoc/Full Professor (Tenure)

Competencies: Proficiency in oncology diagnosis and treatment; Teaching oncology to students, interns, and residents; Carry out oncology procedures for all species

Special Requirements: Per PS-18, employee may be required to report to campus in times of emergency and/or closure.
